The race to facilitate financial inclusion across the African union has begun. We need to embrace fintech proliferation as a perfect tool and a solution for greater digital adoption and continued financial inclusion of the underbanked and underserved in Africa.

It has the potential to create countless skilled jobs, help answer economic deficiencies and fuel the stabilization of Africa’s economic prowess and influence throughout our world.

The AFRICA INDIA FINTECH ALLIANCE (AIFA), will enable:

Scaling of Fintech adoption, digital proliferation and financial inclusion in Africa by bringing established fintech companies, financial services companies, start-ups and key finance industry stakeholders from India to collaborate with regional fintech companies and financial industry stakeholders in Africa

Unrestricted flow of inter-continental Indian private equity and venture capital funds to reinforce a growing African fintech ecosystem. 

Increased visibility for events, programs, market-specific snapshots, and opportunities for all participating stakeholders across Africa and India.

Development of a long-term strategy to support and encourage robust collaborations, partnerships, mergers between Indian and African companies across the financial technology landscape

Access to AIFA research reports, case studies, and strategic industry insights to leverage quicker adoption of policies, regulatory framework, and innovation across the African financial services industry

Leveraging of underrepresented fintech and financial inclusion issues to the forefront for all key members of the platform

Technology and innovation progress across fintech and fintech sub-sectors via dedicated sub-sector-focused councils, innovation labs, and centers of excellence in collaboration with leading academic institutions from Africa and India
